The wait for tasty burgers is nearly over in Montrose. The Houston Chronicle reports The Burger Joint is set for an opening date of November 4. (It was originally announced that the restaurant taking over the former Little Bigs location at 2703 Montrose would open over the summer.)

Writing that the “space has been handsomely redesigned and almost entirely rebuilt,” the Chronicle also notes that they’ve installed bike racks for cyclists. As for the beverages, there will be 24 draft beers and 19 bottled varieties, plus wine and “adult shakes.”

Of course, the burgers are the main draw, from classic versions to more creative options like the Kimchi Burger topped with the spicy fermented cabbage; a burger topped with barbecue, mac and cheese, slaw and a fried egg; a lamb burger with Greek toppings and even a housemade veggie burger. Sides like hand-cut fries and onion rings will provide the perfect accompaniments.
