A trifecta of talent is teaming up to open up a new restaurant in Montrose in the next 18 months according to a Houston Chronicle story published today. Paul Petronella of Paulie’s and Camerata, sommelier David Keck, also of Camerata, and Grant Gordon — most recently the chef at Tony’s and Vallone’s — are the power trio behind The Edmont, coming soon to 1634 Westheimer Rd.

The name is a reference to The Catcher in the Rye and the menu will harness a “forward-thinking approach” and American ingredients. Petronella will act as the restaurant’s operations manager, Keck as the beverage director and Gordon will be in charge of the menu and kitchen.
