Pax Americana is coming to Montrose this summer

By | June 23, 2014

Pax_Americana_LogoHouston Chronicle food critic Alison Cook reports a new restaurant is coming soon to Montrose in the space that once housed Thai Sticks (4319 Montrose Blvd.). Cook writes that it will be “affordably priced […] with shared plates on a tightly edited menu that changes frequently, utilizing products sourced locally and across America.”

Pax Americana will be manned by a co-chef team of Adam Dorris — formerly of Revival Market — and Plinio Sandalio, a pastry chef who recently moved back to Houston from Austin. The dynamic duo is backed in part by Dan and Mark Zimmerman as well as Shepherd Ross. Estimates for an opening date are hovering around late July.
