Bocados To Host January Recycling Mixer

Don’t miss January’s Recycling Mixer hosted by Bocados restaurant.  It’s sure to be a great night as co-owners, Terry Flores and Lily Hernandez, invite everyone into their ‘quaint and comfortable’  restaurant where they ‘want everyone to feel as though they are at home.’

Ms. Flores says it was easy going green because of the close proximity of recycling containers to her establishment.  It’s also a win for Montrose area schools.

Waste Management, who maintains the large green recycling bins across from the Bocados parking lot, donates a portion of the money raised from recycling to private schools in the Montrose, like St. Thomas.

The restaurateur says she likes being able to ‘help her own community’ while also helping to offset the environmental impact of running a restaurant.
