Texas New Music Ensemble will present a Violin and Piano Recital on November 5, 2016.

Featuring violinist, Joanna Becker, and pianist, Andrew Schneider.

This concert will be centered around two world premieres: Exordium et Infra Furorem by Ft. Worth based composer, Martin Blessinger and Violin Sonata by TNME Artistic Director, Chad Robinson.

Joanna Becker received her musical training at Manhattan School of Music, Yale University (BM), and Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music (MM).

Andrew Schneider is a Houston native and earned his BM at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music. He currently also performs with Mercury Baroque and the San Antonio Symphony.

This concert will also feature works by Mei­Fang Lin (Lubbock), Peter Lieuwen (College Station), and Yevgeniy Sharlat (Austin).

Texas New Music Ensemble is a 501c3 not for profit organization established in Houston, led by Artistic Director Chad Robinson, whose musical training includes degrees from University of Houston (BM), Carnegie Mellon (MM), and King’s College, London (PhD.)
