The collaborative spirit of Montrose is alive and well with the announcement of the “First Saturdays” events from Royal Oak Bar & Grill (1318 Westheimer) and their across-the-street neighbors, Doc’s Motorworks Bar & Grill (1303 Westheimer).

The inaugural event happens this Saturday, September 5 from noon to 6 p.m. This parking lot party will feature live music, DJ sets, food, local vendors and adult beverages are in store, but the addition of a pampering station (for manicures), a dunking booth (proceeds benefit a local charity), tarot card readings, water balloons, water guns and a mechanical bull bring this party to another level.

First Saturdays will be an ongoing event taking place on — you guessed it — the first Saturday of every month.
