Pizaro’s Is A Certified Slice Of Italy In Montrose

You knew Pizaro’s (1000 W. Gray) pizzas were delicious, but now they’re certifiably so according to the Verace Pizza Napoletana of Americas. The Chronicle reports that the “branch of the Naples-based Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana” has granted Pizaro’s Pizza a prestigious membership in the organization where members must meet “strict requirements” that “respect the tradition of the art of Neapolitan pizza making.”

The only restaurant in Houston to earn the VPN membership, Pizaro’s, is one of three Texas pizza purveyors with the honor. The Montrose Pizaro’s is the officially certified location.
