May Is Houston Bike Month: Here’s How To Participate

By | May 7, 2015

bikerack_montroseMay brings all kinds of things: Warmer weather, the end of the school year and Houston Bike Month. Spearheading the efforts of that last one is BikeHouston, Houston’s bicycle advocacy organization, planning Bike to Work rides throughout this month.

BikeHouston will lead group rides to The Medical Center (tomorrow, May 8), Greenway Plaza and Galleria (May 14) and Downtown (May 15). Each ride will include a Montrose neighborhood starting place for interested residents.

Additionally, BikeHouston will host a women’s only ride on May 10, a ride to honor cyclists who have been injured or killed while riding on public roadways on May 20 and a group ride touring shops in Montrose and the Heights on May 26.
