Zagat Houston featured a list of the “10 Crave-Worthy Comfort-Food Dishes in Houston” and Montrose had a decent showing. First up was Eatsie Boys with their fusion favorite of matzo ball pho (Vietnamese noodle soup plus Jewish comfort food equals wow). Secondly, Max’s Wine Dive was praised for their grilled cheese, served on brioche and stuffed full of Gruyere and provolone cheeses, red bell pepper pimento cheese and served with tomato soup.
