It’s PRIDE time!

The 34th Annual Houston LGBT Pride Festival and Parade is this weekend right in the heart of Montrose!  The Pride Festival and Parade are at the center of the seven-day Pride Celebration and are annually attended by more than 300,000 people from Houston and all over the world,  making it the second largest parade in Houston and the largest Pride Parade or LGBT gathering in the Southwestern United States.

Kick off the weekend at Discovery Green with the 2nd Annual Rainbow on the Green presented by LandRover Houston TONITE at 8PM

Also, rocking in PRIDE weekend into the wee hours is the inaugural Wonderland Houston at Bayou Music Center featuring DJ Michael Tank with performances by Cirque Aerialists & Special Guest Artists. Tickets and more info at www.wonderlandhouston.com.

On Saturday join the Houston LGBT Pride FESTIVAL from 1-7PM with more than 200 contingents and exhibitors, multiple stages, and attendance of more than 60,000 people, the Festival has something for everyone. With exhibits like the Houston Dynamo Kids’ Zone, the Walgreens Health & Wellness Pavilion, the Houston LGBT History Exhibit in cooperation with Rice University, and a whole cast of music performers including our Pride Superstar contestants, past and present. Admission is free, but donations for support can be given at the information booths at either entrance to the Festival. Performances from:

This year’s Houston LGBT Pride PARADE starts at 8:15 PM and ends at 11:00 PM. The Parade pre-show starts at 7:45 p.m. on Westheimer at Waugh.  The Parade, held along Westheimer  between Dunlavy and Montrose, features more than 100 organizations and businesses supporting and celebrating the Houston LGBT community.
