The Citizens’ Environmental Coalition presents The Wild and Scenic Film Festival on Tour.

The festival consists of about 20 short documentary films that speak to the environmental concerns and celebrations of our planet. Different films will be shown each night, including one film created by local groups depicting a local issue. Topics range from jaw-dropping adventure and the beauty of the great outdoors to grass-roots efforts to tackle serious problems.

Local Films Telling Local Environmental Stories
CEC is using this festival to tell local environmental stories, highlight the work of CEC’s member organizations, and to inspire our residents and visitors to make a difference in our environment and quality of life. To that end, CEC asks our local environmentalists to submit short films telling local stories. In partnership with the Houston Green Film Series, CEC will host a one-night screening of local environmental films in November 15, 2017.

Two of these films will be selected for inclusion in the January 2018 festival.  Find out more about the local film screening, criteria & how to submit a film for consideration.
