Introduced by teen members of Houston Art New Generation (hang@MFAH), who also lead a post-film discussion.
A team of career criminals frolics through Turin, Italy, in MINI Coopers—all part of a complicated plan to steal millions in Italian gold bullion.
When a suave, skirt-chasing robber (Michael Caine), just released from British prison, orchestrates one of the biggest international heists in history, he enlists the help of incarcerated Mr. Bridger (Noël Coward).
Bridger recommends a quirky team of computer hackers (including Benny Hill), bank robbers, hijackers, and getaway drivers. The comic caper ends with an exhilarating car chase illustrating why the MINI is the ultimate getaway car.
Soundtrack by Quincy Jones.
