Watercolor Art Society_Houston presents the WAS-H Art Fair, Saturday, March 19, 11 am to 6 pm.
Founded in 1975, the Watercolor Art Society – Houston (WAS-H) is a non-profit organization of more than 600 painters bringing the excitement of water-media to the greater Houston area through outstanding exhibitions, world-class instruction and dedicated community outreach.
One Saturday each year, we fill our parking lot with artists offering beautiful original paintings and prints priced to sell.
At the WAS-H Art Fair you will find art for every taste: abstracts, figurative work, landscapes, animals, still life… a variety of subject matter in a wide range of styles. Many of our artists have won awards at the international level of competition, and all of us love to share our work and “talk art” with our guests.
Inside the gallery, WAS-H artists will be demonstrating different watermedia techniques throughout the day. Painters who want to learn something new, or the curious who have yet to pick up a brush, be sure to go inside and see how our demonstrators create their paintings.
While you are in the gallery, be sure to take in the WAS-H 39th Annual International Exhibition: 100 paintings from some of the most accomplished watercolor artists in the world.
Please join us for the WAS-H Art Fair! It’s free and fun. Refreshments will be available.
UPDATE: El Topo food truck (@topotruck) will be at the Art Fair all day!
