Veteran Service Day Career Fair & Luncheon

On Wednesday, November 4, Dress For Success Houston, along with Lone Star Cab, Accenture, Walmart and the Houston Symphony, will host its Veteran Service Day Career Fair and Luncheon – an event dedicated to suiting female veterans in the Houston area with employment-appropriate interview suits and providing career development training.

Each veteran will be paired with a personal shopper to select free interview attire from the Dress for Success closet, complete with a professional portfolio and accessories. Representatives from Accenture will provide an interview-readiness course, including one-on-one resume reviews and critiques.

Attendees will also enjoy a luncheon provided by Walmart and musical entertainment compliments of the Houston Symphony. A career fair, featuring a wide range of Houston companies, will take place after the luncheon.

For veterans in need of transportation, Lone Star Cab will provide free rides to and from the event. Rides can be reserved upon scheduling an appointment
