The University of St. Thomas Music Department presents a UST Music Faculty Recital: Patrick Moore, cello (with Rodney Waters, piano) Friday, August 28 in UST-Cullen Hall.
Cellist Patrick Moore presents a recital of works for cello and piano, accompanied by Rodney Waters on piano.
The program includes:
Schelomo: Rhapsody Hébraïque by Ernest Bloch
Cello Sonata op.65 by Benjamin Britten
Le Grande Tango by Astor Piazzolla
Mr. Moore is the principal cellist of the Houston Latin Philharmonic Orchestra, The Cypress Symphony, and is the assistant principal cellist with Opera in the Heights, and the Symphony of Southeast Texas. He is also a founding member of the Axiom Quartet and is an adjunct faculty member of the University of St.Thomas and the American Festival for the Arts.
