The Jung Center presents Trickster at Play: A Catalyst for Transformation.
What is it that rips the rug out from under us just as things seem to be going so well? It is during times of upheaval, of personal or collective tragedy or crisis that the archetype of the Trickster appears and plays a part in whatever transformation is to occur.
Trickster is the soul’s guide, a boundary maker and boundary breaker, and comes to provoke and facilitate a liminal, or transitional, state that will ultimately lead to a new level of consciousness.
We will use myth, fairy tale and film to explore the many aspects of Trickster and of liminality, and how they manifest in our lives and in the world.
