Brigid’s Place, The Jung Center, Christ Church Cathedral and The Hine’s Center present The Through the Dark Woods: Dante in Art and Music Saturday, February 27 at 7pm at Cullen Hall, St. Thomas University.
A multi-media journey through Dante’s The Divine Comedy, featuring eleven centuries of music and art, including Michelangelo, Botticelli, Dore, Rossetti, Gregorian plainchant, Medieval Cantigas, and gorgeous works by Schubert, Gounod, Ysaye and Arvo Part, performed by Julija Zibrat, violin and Kayleen Asbo, piano.

Kayleen Asbo, Ph.D is an acclaimed cultural historian, musician, writer and teacher who passionately weaves together myth, psychology, history, and the arts with experiential learning.
Kayleen will be offering four days of lectures, workshops and concerts in Houston on topics ranging from Dante to Hildegard of Bingen and Carl Jung with violinist Julija Zibrat.
