Style Like Revelators is a high energy, heavy hitting, fuzzed out blues rock band from the heart of California’s Central Valley. The band was formed in early 2008 by brothers Chris and Nick Navarro, and since then has been ceaselessly working towards mastering their unique sound.

Backed by bassist Matt Willis and drummer Tony Montanez, the band pushes the limits of musical intricacy while still drawing from strong classic rock and blues influences. Their on-stage presence is magnified by their intensely energetic style of performing and their natural charisma. This presence, along with their face-melting guitar solos, pounding bass lines, and shredding drum beats make each performance nothing short of electrifying.

As of summer 2013, Style Like Revelators has released two full length LPs entitled “Changing Bones” (2010) and “Be Righteous Be Rebels” (2011), along with their latest EP entitled “Out of the Fire” (2013). The band is currently working on a brand new full length album which they plan to release early next year.

“Young rock/blues band Style Like Revelators just had its big CD release a couple weeks back for “Changing Bones.” And if you haven’t checked them out, the boys are offering up a free download for Beehivers.

This one is called “A Little Soul of My Own,” and it’s a guitar-fueled romp that fans of The White Stripes and The Black Keys may like. If you’re diggin’ Style Like Revelators, go see ’em tonight at Audie’s Olympic (flier below), playing with Smoke and Feathers and Lance Canales & The Flood. Also, they’re playing at Iron Bird Cafe for ArtHop next Thursday. DOWNLOAD: Style Like Revelators – “A Little Soul of My Own” ” – Mike Oz – Fresnobeehive.com
