River Oaks Theatre Weekend Midnight Movie: Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Every Friday and Saturday night at 11:55pm, it’s another Midnight Movie Classic at the Landmark River Oaks Theatre.

It’s 1947 Hollywood and Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), a down-on-his-luck detective, is hired to find proof that the owner of Toontown is playing hanky-panky with femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, wife of cartoon superstar Roger Rabbit.

When the owner is found murdered, all fingers point to Roger, and the sinister, power-hungry Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) is on a mission to bring Roger to justice.

A comic mixture of live action and animation, directed by Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Romancing the Stone, Cast Away).
