Also screening at the MFAH: Kristen Wiig in Nasty Baby, a drama from Chile’s Sebastián Silva (who attended the Museum’s LATIN WAVE film festival in 2009 with his film The Maid); the Venezuelan drama Liz in September, about a woman hiding her terminal illness; and the documentary Tab Hunter Confidential, with Tab Hunter and producer Allan Glaser in person.

In person: Tab Hunter and producer Allan Glaser.
In the 1950s, Tab Hunter was No. 1 at the movie box office and on the music charts. He was Hollywood’s most sought-after star, romantically linked to Sophia Loren, Debbie Reynolds, and Natalie Wood.
Nothing, it seemed, could stop Hunter’s career—except that he was secretly gay.
Tab Hunter Confidential delivers a revealing look into Hunter’s life, from his rise in Hollywood to the outing that nearly destroyed his career.
Struggling to remain relevant in a studio system on the verge of collapse, Hunter made a triumphant comeback with the help of drag queen Divine and found his life partner, Allan Glaser.
Sharing freely without regrets, Award-winning filmmaker Jeffrey Schwartz (I Am Divine; Vito) uncovers the story of a man who survived Hollywood’s infamous roller coaster and endured to find love and happiness.
