Billie Duncan is a performance poet and author of three books, including Beneath the Desk (acquired by Brown University for inclusion in the Harris Collection of American Poems and Plays). Duncan’s poems are in numerous anthologies and journals. She is communications director, Houston Poetry Fest and coordinator, Houston Poetry Summit. Her articles, reviews, and photography have appeared in dozens of magazines and newspapers. Her upcoming book is Requiem for the Plastic Clown.
Anis Shivani’s books in the last year include Soraya: Sonnets, Whatever Speaks on Behalf of Hashish: Poems, and Karachi Raj: A Novel. He has recently finished a trilogy of poetry books called Confessions I, II, and III. His work appears recently in the Yale Review, Third Coast, Prairie Schooner, The Journal, Black Warrior Review, Western Humanities Review, Volt, AGNI, Denver Quarterly, and other journals. His next book of criticism, Literary Writing in the Twenty-First Century: Conversations, will be out in early 2017.
