Aurora Picture Show presents Pablo Gimenez-Zapiola: Hidentities.

Originally from Argentina, Houston-based artist Pablo Gimenez-Zapiola investigates time, space, life, and language in a creative practice that blends his experience in painting, photography, architecture, and graphic design.

Commissioned by Aurora, the premiere of his new interactive, multiple-projection installation Hidentities incorporates both live-feed video and prepared images and text in a space that is fragmented by fabric.

The work disrupts our self-view with hybrid perspectives, revealing the “hidden” and sparking questions of personal identity.

During this one-night event, collaborating artist Carlos Pozo will provide a live, ambient soundscape.
