Cactus Music presents Merel & Tony with the Woe Woe Woes. EP release + New songs from a forthcoming album called PROTEST PSALMS.
Merel & Tony are a Dutch/Texan songwriting duo best known for their work scoring episodes of THIS AMERICAN LIFE.
Merel & Tony have been writing and recording together since 2013. They recently completed their second score for radio program This American Life and their first regional tour with their band, The Woe Woe Woes. Their new single Purgatorio was recorded at IFLM Records and will be released in November. They will be touring again in March of 2016.
Anthony Barilla’s work on their forthcoming album is supported by a grant from The City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.
