Learn the basics of stone lithography at Introduction to Lithography January 19-22, 2015. The class will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.

Taught by Charles Criner, the museum’s Artist in Residence, this class will introduce students to the history of lithography followed by hands-on practice. Students will learn how to process a stone through graining, applying an image, and then etching the stone.

Students will print on the museum’s 1830s starwheel lithography press and then learn how to sign, number, and frame their lithographs.
