Hudson Falcons (Hopatcong, NJ)
http://www.hudsonfalcons.net/
Born in the swamps of New Jersey, the Hudson Falcons are following a sound that can only be achieved by playing more than 1,200 shows from the Jersey Shore to Germany. The influences of the road have clearly found their way through the well-worn tires of the band van and into the Falcons’ music.
More than ever, there are traces of South Texas and a little bit of heartland stomp mixing in with the New Jersey soul and swagger that has come to symbolize the Falcons and brought them a loyal following both in the United States and abroad. Cultivating a new, fuller sound that is as much Replacements as it is Ramones, the Falcons are, as always, ready to prove it all night—not just through your speakers but in the backrooms, basements, and bars of the open road.
More than a decade after Mark Linskey started the Hudson Falcons, the fire of the band’s first disc, “Desperation and Revolution,” has yet to be extinguished and, if anything, has only grown stronger. All the proof you need is on the band’s most recent disc, “Desire to Burn,” and the songs now being prepped for “Dancing Underneath the Moonlight,” due out in 2011.
While the rest of the music world tries to figure out a way to make the 21st-century music lover aware of great bands, the Falcons have followed the old-fashioned route: touring, touring, touring, repairing the van, and then more touring (“Sleep, Drive, Rock ‘N’ Roll, Repeat” is both one of their songs and a Falcons mantra). Over the years, the Falcons have made a habit of offering impassioned, straight-from-the-gut performances. Regardless of the city, the turnout, or the general hazards that life on the road brings, the Falcons come out with all guns firing when they hit the stage, never delivering a show that is anything less than heartfelt and hell-raising.
Worm Suicide (Austin, TX)
https://www.reverbnation.com/wormsuicide
Before dominating the scene in Austin…WORM SUICIDE was formed in the stool pumped bowels of South Tx in 1996. Combining the edge of hardcore punk with skum rock and alcohol the “Worm Boys’ bring rage, danger, and the smell of dirty love with them when they hit the stage.
ESE (Houston, TX)
https://www.facebook.com/ESEtexas
Ese is a unique mash up of Punk, Rock n Roll, and just a touch of Hardcore and Metal. Ese started in the early 2000s, spending their first years finding and refining their signature sound to their local Houston music scene. Over the years they have toured all over the USA which led to them being noticed and signed by Zodiac Killer Records. Until 2014, all original members of ESE worked hard to get the band to where they are today. After the departure of Knotch, one of the driving forces behind Ese, the band made the tough decision to continue. With the addition of Edward and Chris, the renewed energy and the incredible sound and fury of the band has floored audiences around America which landed them a spot on the Sudden Death Records roster, where ESE happily joins the ranks of amazing artist such as The Damned, MDC, The Vibrators, Real McKenzies, and DOA.
Here’s what Joe Keithley of DOA fame and Sudden Death records have to say about ESE and their new Album “All In” – “Ese are a rough and tumble outfit from the streets. When they hit the stage you can tell they mean business. That’s exactly what Sudden Death’s Joe Shithead saw when ESE opened for D.O.A. a few years back. He exclaimed, “Wow, ESE is like Tex-Mex Motorhead, they blew the doors off of that joint.”About a year later Shithead saw Ese again in Texas, they stomped their proverbial stomping grounds in such a menacing way, Joe happily agreed to sign the band to Sudden Death. So this is the end result. It’s a wild and unbridled marriage of rock n’ roll and punk that has not been seen for some time. From the kicking opening track “Badass Fatass” to “Ghetto Ese Style,” these boys take power riffs and mash them nonstop into your cranium, you’ll be screaming for more. And that’s what you get as they blaze thru “Pissed Off,” “Texas Guns” and the saucy “Guacamole” (Texas Tornados). Ese is from the streets and they will kick your ass with All In, in what will surely become known as one of the rawest and best rock n’ roll albums of 2015.
Drink Fight Thugs (San Antonio, TX)

group formed in 1998 with long time friends thomas , roland , and tony with new found friend frank. after practicing a few months, DFT had thier first show at the generator opening for punk legendaries THE HATES from houston texas on Oct.1999. local shows came at a fast pace, as did the road trips around the state. 2001 DFT released the first self titled 10 cd and shortly afterwards added a second guitarist buda to the line up for a heavy full sound. that was shortly interrupted with the resigning of bassist thomas and the fulfillment of his replacement , mike (crotch on fire bassist). moving forward in 2002, 5 song Fuckem e.p. was recorded and released follow by 2004 13 song release of Fuck you this is war cd. as time past along with numerous shows and a couple of tours guitarist tony and vocalist frank both departed and vocals resumed with angel (from those unruly) as front man. a few years passed on by as came along the 2009 recording of the angel years-rough takes on anger management 10 cd release…and with it , the departure of another vocalist guitarist and bassist who were replaced by guitarist farin (from exile) and danny bastard ( from hard luck heroes) and vocals were picked up as double duty by the drummer. continuing onward giving hard thrashing sets to a slew of drunken fans and party goers on tours and countless road trips. things still werent settled yet when another changed was in the works, out went the bassist danny and guitarist farin to pursue other dreams and were replaced by bassist mark ( from dead weight) and baldemar. as they say, the show must go on, gigs lined up, a 2015 new 4 song release called murder in the first hit” came out, and hard pounding tour transpired. not to mention the trading places once again of guitarist baldemar for ed gut (from filthy and the muffdivers). as of now the line up consists of roland on drums and main vocals, mark on bass/ back up vocal and ed gut on guitar/back up vocal and we are currently holding it down and lashing it out with full force and intensity.
