Harmonic World the Language of Peace: Concert by Stuart Hinds and friends

The University of St. Thomas Music Department presents Harmonic World ~ the Language of Peace: Concert by Stuart Hinds and friends Thursday, September 29 i UST-Cullen Recital Hall.

Stuart Hinds is the original polyphonic overtone singer, amazing audiences world- wide with his incredible ability to sing two distinct melodies at the same time.

In this special concert, Hinds will be joined by classical Indian singer Nanda Banerjee along with some of Houston’s finest classical, world, and jazz musicians in a diverse program of compositions and improvisations that reflects all these musical influences.

It is overtone singing like you’ve never heard it, in a variety of musical contexts. It is music that is intended not only to give musical joy, but also a spiritual uplifting.
