Cabaret artist Deborah Boily – well known to Houston audiences for Piaf in Vienna and her Houston Press Award-winning performance in Blood Brothers – returns to Stages with the debut of a new solo show, Songs I was Born To Sing.

In this unforgettable musical journey we follow Debbie, and her love of music, from her first audition in her hometown of Baton Rouge, to a stage career in New York, and across the ocean to Parisian nightclubs where she finds her soul as a chanteuse.

Inspired by her idol, Julie Andrews, she performs show tunes from such favorite musicals as South Pacific, The Threepenny Opera and The Music Man, as well as a few of her signature French pieces, and some rarely heard musical gems.

You'll take delight when Deborah performs the numbers she was truly "born to sing" with passion, pathos and her first-class voice.

Deborah Boily: Songs I Was Born to Sing by Deborah Boily & Stewart Zuckerbrod. STARRING DEBORAH BOILY.
