Stages Artistic Director Kenn McLaughlin directed the U.S. Premiere of The Kiss in 2015 at Upstream Theater in St. Louis, where it was named one of the Top 10 Shows of 2015. Now his acclaimed production comes to Houston.
In The Kiss, two troubled souls cross paths: an apprehensive housewife facing a difficult diagnosis and a disillusioned comedian grappling with despair.
This chance encounter leads them to reflect on their lives as they have been, as they might have been, and as they might yet be.
Recommended for mature audiences.
