A Celtic Christmas with Danny OFlaherty

The University of St. Thomas William J. Flynn Center for Irish Studies presents A Celtic Christmas with Danny O’Flaherty Sunday, December 6.

Well-known Celtic Balladeer Danny O’Flaherty returns to the University of St. Thomas with his touching Celtic Christmas concert. Danny highlights the Christmas traditions of the Celtic nations through song, music and storytelling learned during his childhood in Ireland.

Danny brings together the beauty of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Astoria and the Isle of Man.

Danny is originally from the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland. Growing up in a little village in Connemara, Ireland, Danny had little exposure to western pop culture and television.

Join us for this lovely concert, which will rekindle the Christmas spirit in people of all ages.
