Ali Atay, a TV and movie star in Turkey, takes a turn at directing a feature film with Lemonade (Limonata), a comedy about two half-brothers who meet for the first time when summoned to their father’s deathbed.
The ailing Suat has one request for his son Sakip: to find Selim, the previously unknown half-brother from a previous marriage. The siblings, who have very different personalities, end up on a road trip from Istanbul to Macedonia.
The tumultous adventure tests both brothers’ patience and leads each to a new appreciation for the meaning of family.
