This Turkish film has been thrilling horror fans at festivals around the world over the past year.

A squad of unsuspecting police officers working the night shift is called to a seemingly abandoned building, only to find themselves in the midst of a shocking ritual celebration of black magic.

In his feature film debut, daring Turkish filmmaker Can Evrenol adapts his chilling short of the same name (which describes a police raid).

“Drawing upon a diverse range of inspirations—not only such films as Quest for Fire and Apocalypse Now, but also the paintings of Caravaggio, Hieronymus Bosch, and H. R. Giger—Baskin offers a nightmarish compendium of imaginative frights that will leave even seasoned fans reeling.” —Toronto International Film Festival
