The Italian Cultural & Community Center presents the 38th Houston Italian Festival October 13-16, 2016.
The 38th Houston Italian Festival will give families and festival goers an authentic Italian experience, travel to the heart of Houston for the annual Houston Italian Festival, the largest Italian festival in Texas.
Now in its 38th year, the Festa Italiana, celebrates food, music, films, lectures, classes – everything that showcases Italy’s varied and abundant best.
This is the Italian Cultural and Community Center’s (ICCC) most ambitious undertaking to support our mission to advance, celebrate, and preserve Italian culture for all. Thousands of volunteer hours and a year’s worth of preparation go into bringing Italian culture to life at Festa Italiana, an event unsurpassed in any of the surrounding cities or states.
Food is important in Italian culture. Its preparation, presentation, and enjoyment, transcends all social or economic barriers and nourishes the souls of Italians. It binds them together. “Italianness” is everywhere at the Festival but especially at Taste of Italy Pavilion (TOI), a separate tent and wine garden where attendees enter an authentically Italian world for a true taste of Italy.
Come and enjoy the food, wine, beer, and soda while learning about the greatness of Italy. Shop at our Italian Market and visit a number of exhibitor booths at the Festival.
