The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) will host the 10th Annual Koffee House on Oct. 1.
Koffee House features a wide range of individual performances by the talented students of HSPVA — instrumentalists, singer/songwriters, dancers, actors, spoken-word poets, and more.
During the performances, guests enjoy delicious desserts served with gourmet coffee and tea.
All proceeds from this event benefit HSPVA’s annual All-School Black History Production. Every February, HSPVA celebrates the creative contributions of African Americans and offers a Black History Production to the diverse communities of Greater Houston.
This year, Soul of the ‘70s takes us back in time with all those funky, soulful hits that defined an explosively creative decade. The funds raised through Koffee House will underwrite production essentials, including costumes, sets, professional consulting faculty, and promotional materials.
