Triumph of the Human Spirit: Works from Houston’s Refugee and Immigrant Artists

The YMCA of Greater Houston presents Triumph of the Human Spirit: Works from Houston’s Refugee and Immigrant Artists on October 7, 2016 at St. John’s School.

YMCA International Services is hosting Triumph of the Human Spirit Art Show and Auction.

The event will feature original artwork from local refugee and immigrant artists.

This event is designed to share with the community the unique talents refugees and immigrants bring to the Houston art scene while providing them with a platform to showcase their work.

All proceeds from the auction will be shared equally between the artists and YMCA International Services, where the funds will be used to support programs designed to advance the economic independence, social integration and civic participation of refugees, immigrants, and other vulnerable groups.
