The University of St. Thomas is pleased to announce the addition of a Summer Organ Workshop to its annual Music Camp Series. Anyone is welcome to participate. Whether you are a church musician or a student interested in playing the pipe organ, this would be the opportunity to help you develop or enhance your playing skills.

Attendees will receive a lecture and demonstration and have a chance to play on the Shoenstein Organ at the Chapel of St. Basil, University of St. Thomas campus and the Pasi Op 19 at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Houston.
Here is an opportunity to develop or enhance your skill.
Dr. Jeong-Suk Bae, the new organ professor at UST, earned her DMA in Organ Performance from the University of Houston under the guidance of Dr. Roberts Bates. Currently, she enjoys serving Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart as the assistant organist, and St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Katy as the principal organist. She holds music degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX (MM, Organ Performance under Dr. Albert L. Travis), and Chong-Shin Presbyterian University, Seoul, South Korea (BM, Piano Performance under Dr. Jikang Jung).
