Supersonic intergalactic heavy rock trio Mothership based out of Dallas, Texas give a real sense of hope that all is well in the universe, and that pure honest rock and roll has once again returned to this planet on a mission to unite true believers. Consisting of brothers Kyle Juett on bass/lead vocals, Kelley Juett on guitar/vocals, and Judge Smith on drums, these guys have created a unique sound that satisfies like a steaming hot stew of UFO and Iron Maiden, blended with the southern swagger of Molly Hatchet and ZZ Top, paired with a deadly chalice of Black Sabbath.
Mothership’s goal from the beginning has been to carry on the tradition of the classic rock style of the ’70?s, updated and amped up for the modern day. The band has been non-stop road warriors since the release of their debut album in February 2013 on Ripple Music successfully invading the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Europe playing either on festival stages, night clubs, or outdoors under the sun at motorcycle parties. This heavy rock juggernaut has only just begun their tear across the universal cosmos and have no plans of ever slowing down. Do not miss your chance to hop on board and join Mothership.
“Propelled by a mixture of progressive, experimental rock which seamlessly merges stunning guitar work with that 70s carefree rock attitude, the album manages to produce stunning songs which scream of the classic greats such as Thin Lizzy or Led Zeppelin….the album unveils track upon track of brilliance on the unsuspecting listener leaving you feeling like you were whisked back in time to experience that golden era of rock all over again. Going from this album I will be very surprised if these guys do not become huge.” – Lee Walker (Firebrand Magazine)
“Been listening to Mothership all day now and if feels like UFO and Orange Goblin got drunk with St. Vitus, smoked some weed with Blue Cheer and spewed out the tuffest blues-drenched, no frills love child I’ve heard all month. Some ridiculously badass guitars. And heavy above all else!” – Sword of Doom
“Try to resist a band that plays blues-laden metal with heavy guitar riffs that is also hoping for intergalactic travel. Mothership is a three piece from Dallas that alternates between an almost AC/DC-like sound on a track like “City Nights” and a broader, heavier and more epic sound on tracks like “Cosmic Rain,” “Angel of Death” and the opener, “Hallucination.” – Samantha Power (Vue Weekly.com)
“Texas is well known for three things: the annual ‘Houston Livestock’ rodeo, BBQ ribs and ZZ TOP. Now it’s time for a fourth thing to be added to the Texan list: Dallas’ 70s style heavy fuzz rockers MOTHERSHIP……Spinning this one once more I can almost smell the Orange amps, the unrefined booze and the sweat dripping from their faces while performing in small bar stages. But you guys, you are made for B-I-G. Well done, sirs and Ripple Music!” -Maria Voutiriadou (Metal Kaoz)
“The influences I picked up from the album include Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Black Sabbath and Molly Hatchet. They even have some of that modern dirty Texas sound put out by bands such as Wo Fat, Split Hoof and Super Heavy Goat Ass. Forgive me if I missed a few but my point is this, Mothership take cues from some of music’s best, rolls it into a ball, puts it in an oven that’s been preset for 500 degrees and then unleashes the baked goods onto the unsuspecting world. This is one of those albums that you repeat many times, it’s one of your go to albums when you’re not sure what to listen to. In most albums I can find little things here and there that I didn’t care for or like but Mothership has nothing. I couldn’t find a damn thing wrong with this album. To me that says a lot. It’s the making of a strong future for the band. I highly recommend setting some “me time” for yourself, at least 45 minutes worth, indulge in your vice of choice and listen real good from start to finish” – Bill Goodman (The Soda Shop)

The Dirty Seeds. No gimmicks, just four strangers gathered together by an ape-like stoner prophet from the future to save humanity with loud rock n roll. Face melting stoner rock with enough of a groove to trick white people into thinking they know how to dance.
