Angela M Smith: Believe – Solo Art Exhibit (and Opening Reception)

The Solo Artist Opening Receiption is Wednesday, May 18th from 5-9pm for Believe, featuring work by portraiture artist Angela M. Smith. We will have food, beverages artists interviews, and games. The art work will be on display & able to be purchased during resturant hours until July 17th 2016.

Meet the Artist:

Angela M. Smith paints stories on mini canvases that can be broken apart & look better than ever. Each person painted has displayed sincere passion, courage, strength, resilience, beauty, love and peace. Part of Angela’s process is observing personalities, and illustrating the concepts derived from their true nature.

She uses her art to send a powerful message for those who have been survivors. Situations in life can be heartbreaking. But from the pieces, you will be made whole again in time. In the chaos, there will be peace. You just have to Believe that you will eventually overcome it all. And remember to seek treatment.

Art therapy was essential to visualize what can’t be vocalized. It heals continuously.

Since 2013, Her work has been featured in galleries throughout Houston, as well as in the Houston Fire Museum & Texas Southern University Museum.
