IRS forms and disclosure requirements can make anyone’s head spin. Learn the basics of reporting at Houston Arts Alliance’s upcoming Financial Literacy for the Arts workshop, Reporting Requirements, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

Workshop participants will learn about federal and state reporting requirements including IRS disclosure requirements, Form 990 basics, tracking lobbying expenses, employment taxes, and unrelated business taxable items (UBTI). Learn about cash and in-kind donation acknowledgement requirements and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Instructor is Kathy Ploch, a CPA and the Entrepreneurial Services Department Manager at Harper & Pearson Company, P.C.
