In celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month this April, The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) will host their HSPVA Annual Spring Jazz Festival on Friday and Saturday, April 1-2. The weekend will include performances by the HSPVA Jazz Ensembles and special guest Ingrid Jensen (pictured).
Ingrid Jensen is an acclaimed Canadian jazz trumpet player who has been nominated for several Juno awards. Jensen has performed on Saturday Night Live with British soul singer Corrine Bailey Rae and has also toured around the world with various renowned jazz musicians.
