One of the surest signs of spring in Houston is the River Oaks Garden Club’s 81st Annual Azalea Trail. Spectacular flowering shrubs that bloom each spring in Houston. The tour will be Friday-Sunday, March 11-13, 2016 at 11 am – 5 pm.
Houstonians and visitors view the spectacular azalea gardens at Bayou Bend and Rienzi and visit River Oaks’ exquisite private homes and admire their breathtaking gardens.

About The Azalea
The name given to the various spectacular flowering shrubs (genus Rhododendron) of the Heath family that are in full bloom each Spring in Houston, Texas. These showy flowers flourish at Houston locations in varying shades of pink, purple, white, red and yellow and are a magnificent sight to behold.
