Featuring performances by:

Kimberly McCarver

Her songs transcend pure prairie soul, with the warmest tones to comfort your ears since your first experience with a Phil Spector-produced hit. M’Carver’s ethereal coos and pastoral croons are so hypnotizing that you’ll fantasize about her singing with other people.

Brant Croucher

“The songs on Blanco County Lights deal with familiar country themes like women and drinking and trucks, but Brant Croucher’s approach to them shows more imagination…” — Paul T. Mueller, Americana Music News

Jack Saunders one half of the world famous Lumen Brothers

Saunders has been at this so long he cuts straight to the chase. This isn’t some over-thought, let’s-play-at-folk-rock schtick that numerous young bands have, this is a full-grown pro matching sounds and words — “I say goodbye to gravity when you come around” — with all the precision of someone who’s been at his craft 40 years.

Tommie Lee Bradley

Having recently released her latest solo album “Soul Soup”, Tommie Lee is currently performing her original music with local bands, as well as singing with the Richard Brown Orchestra. She’s a stellar songwriter with tightly crafted, highly visual lyrics. Her vocals are those of a soul drenched Southern song stylist, able to make any song her own, no matter who composed the material.

Rick DelGrosso

DelGrosso is very much the latest in the evolution of mandobluesmen, a dexterous, efficient player who combines traditional trill techniques and guitar derived licks into one peerless set of chops capable of every modern blues idiom. DelGrosso’s singularity isn’t confined to his instrumental voice, and his vocals give forth a subterranean quality- a depth that is hulking and grand but not gruff. Evan Haga, Living Blues

Jeremy O’Bannon

“I hear the Allman Brothers on the first and third tune and James Taylor/Bob Dylan in the second one. It sounds like something right out of Greenwich Village during the late 60’s heyday, but with a modern approach. Jeremy’s storytelling is very matter-of-fact, yet conversational in a Neil Young and Townes Van Zandt kind of way. That’s no easy feat for any writer at any level.” – J.R. Castillo

Market Junction

Market Junction is a raw and earthy Texas based Folk/Country band. With a sound that is a bit off the beaten path, they look to bring a fresh feel to the red dirt scene. Soaring harmonies, a multi-instrumentalist and well crafted tunes brand this group’s style.

Ken and Wayne

Houston area singer/songwriter, guitarist, producer, and teacher Ken Gaines has the goal of writing great songs in just about every genre and style you can come up with. “For all the great songs that have been written I belong to a wonderful tribe who believe there are a least as many great ones still to be written.” His voice has the range to cover all styles and his supple guitar work lays down arrangements instead of just chords.  His lyrics are both powerful and poetic and highlight the skills of a story teller and observer of life.
