Rear Window
Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
1954, USA, 112 minutes
In this suspenseful and voyeuristic mystery, a photographer (James Stewart) who must use a wheelchair after breaking his leg begins to spy on neighbors out of boredom.
The actions of one man he observes (Raymond Burr) seem suspicious, suggesting the man may have murdered his own wife.
Stewart’s love interest, Grace Kelly (never lovelier), is pulled into the investigation.
“The deliciousness of watching the film as it’s intended to be seen is that the big screen gives Rear Window back its claustrophobia.” —Jeff Millar, Houston Chronicle
