The Jung Center presents Encountering Dreams: A Practical Approach: Nightmares: Confronting the Monsters That Frighten Us.
What sense do we make of those confounding nightly visions we call dreams? What is the dreams purpose?
Jung offered an approach to understanding and dialoguing with dreams, whose roots lie in the “unfathomably dark recess” of the unconscious. Join us for this lecture series as we examine various perspectives to help us access the wisdom of dreams and their symbols.
LECTURE ONE: Nightmares: Confronting the Monsters That Frighten Us
Vampires, hit men, witches, criminals, bugs, tornadoes, explosions – why do these and other villains appear in our dreams? In this lecture, we will discuss the frightening visitors that appear to us in a special category of dreams, the nightmare.
