The Atomic Bitchwax (Long Branch N.J)

Chris Kosnik, Finn Ryan, and Bob Pantella first started plotting their musical careers back in the mid 90s influenced by 70s rock and progressive groups ranging from Black Sabbath to Parliament Funkadelic. Simultaneously all three members where already playing for major labels in separate bands: Godspeed (Atlantic), Monster Magnet (A&M) and Core (Atlantic).
The Atomic Bitchwax slowly evolved for fifteen years as a players band with the enduring vision to “play what you want”. Their music is a combination of 60s psychedelic rock, and 70s riff rock filtered though the progressive rock influences of today.
Since their first release in 1999 ‘The Atomic Bitchwax’ on Tee Pee Records, they have toured every year in North America and Europe covering over 15 countries and continue to expand. In that time the band has released five more records including three full lengths. ‘TAB-2, 3 and 4’, two EPs ‘Spit Blood’, and ‘Boxriff’, which included a DVD live show filmed in Seattle’s Sunset Tavern. Their music has also appeared in popular TV shows including ‘Jackass’, ‘Home-wrecker’ and ‘Fox sports’.
Latest work includes the 2011 release of ‘The Local Fuzz’, boasting one 42 minute track of over 50 riffs back to back. 2012 and 2013 brings the bands road show to Australia, New Zealand, England, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and the United States.
Mos Generator (Port Orchard, WA)

“If there’s such a thing as fusing some soul into a doom palette, MOS GENERATOR has achieved that. Seldom will you hear an unambiguous merge between the two outside of BLACK SABBATH’s “Sabotage”. Tony Reed (guitar, vocals), Scooter Haslip (bass) and Shawn Johnson (drums) have tapped into a loud vibe featuring sinister and coarse nuances yet with something revealing far more heart”. – Ray Van Horn Jr.- Blabbermouth
“It’s as pure an example of heavy rock as I’ve heard.” JJ Koczan – The Obelisk
Mos Generator formed during the winter of 2000 in Port Orchard, Washington from the ashes of a ten year off & on collaboration between it’s three members, all of which are long time veterans of road & studio.
The need to strip down to the basics of hard rock was apparent from the start and continues to be the foundation for all the bands recent material. Mos Generator have released 5 studio albums, a retrospective album, and a live album on such labels as Roadburn, Small Stone, Ripple, Nasoni, and Lay Bare.
Touring has been just as important to the profile of the band as making records has. Over the years Mos Generator has shared the stage with many great heavy rock bands and in March of 2013 they did a 26 date European tour with Saint Vitus, opening up a whole new fan base to the Mos Generator sound. On stage the band defines the word “chemistry”. Revolving their sound around swagger and groove while improvising just enough to keep the songs feeling fresh from night to night…sometimes with interesting results.
Currently Mos Generator are working on a new record to be released in the spring of 2014 on Listenable Records with a European tour to follow in May. So far the new material is stretching the core sound of the band into some new and interesting directions. “We always try and push the heavy rock sound into other areas. Sometimes it’s forced and sometimes we are letting natural and honest influences enter the equation. On the new material we are letting ourselves be open to whatever comes along.”
Against The Grain (Detroit, MI)

Living up to the title of their newest record, Against the Grain have proven themselves to be true warriors of the road. Blazing through the US with their brand of gear-shifting balls-to-the-wall music that incorporates all things heavy – ATG defies categorization as they seamlessly blur the lines of punk, rock, doom and thrash.
With the release of their first self-titled full-length in 2009, ATG was an immediate hit – garnering an intensive local fanbase playing 50 shows throughout Michigan. With their intense live show and energized fanbase they were introduced to touring life by Hellmouth and The Meatmen, and began their transformation into a fully-functioning road act. The boys in ATG have yet to look back.
After 75 dates in 2011, ATG followed up with 2012’s Motor City Speed Rock and 150 dates in support. Their efforts caught the attention of Self-Destructo Records, who in 2013 released their 3rd full-length, Surrounded By Snakes to such acclaim that they re-leased Motor City Speed Rock on 10” as well.
Maintaining a DIY tour ethic, ATG built a national fanbase with their bare hands – quenching the thirst for fast and heavy rock and roll throughout the land. With 650 dates and counting since hitting the road in 2011, ATG has also toured alongside an impressive assemblage of notable acts including – Nashville Pussy, Valient Thorr, Church of Misery, Guttermouth, The Meatmen, The Koffin Kats, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Zoroaster, Hellmouth, The Hookers, Beast in the Field, Lo-Pan and shared the stage with Zeke, St. Vitus, Orange Goblin, Electric Frankenstein, Agent Orange and many more.
ATG’s heavily anticipated 4th full length entitled Road Warriors is set to release on July 31st on Self-Destructo, and is primed to stake the claim for this Motor City combo’s place in the world of all things rock and roll.
