Watercolor Art Society – Houston (WAS-H) presents a Chinese Painting Class – The Pine Tree.
The evergreen pine tree symbolizes long life and faithfulness. It is a favorite tree of landscape painters and along with the cedar, epitomizes self-discipline. Old gnarled pine trees are especially admired. In this class, you will learn: accurate line work, how to control the shade of ink, and the powerful brush movement.
