Kenny Lantz: Human Wishes (PrintHouston 2015)

The Mariago Collective, in conjunction with the PrintHouston 2015 Festival, is pleased to present Human Wishes, an exhibition of innovative printmaking and art installation by San Antonio artist Kenny Lantz.

With “Human Wishes”, Lantz creates an environment of potential embodied in wishes via wishbones, cupcake candles, et cetera.

The gallery is transformed with copious amounts of wishful objects yet each definitely unique to the hands that hold them. “Human Wishes” invites the viewer to reflect on the concept, the culture, and the action of making a wish.

Throughout the exhibit we may find that the magic of a simple wish isn’t because of a supernatural realm granting wishes but because it’s from right here, the hope of humans that creates them.
