VAA Fresh Arts’ Cultured Cocktails at Boheme Cafe & Wine Bar

On Thursday, May 28 from 5 to 7 p.m., the members of the Visual Arts Alliance (VAA) will host Fresh Arts’ Cultured Cocktails at Boheme Café & Wine Bar. The public is invited to stop by, join in and meet members of one of Houston’s most active creative,communities in person.

“Cultured Cocktails is a tradition for the art community in Houston. But, it’s not only for the artists – the public is invited to join in,” says Matt Adams, VAA president. “Each week, a different group is featured and on Thursday, May 28, Visual Arts Alliance is the host organization. We have a very healthy membership roster and this is an excellent opportunity for art collectors and enthusiasts – and even prospective members – to stop in and take advantage of the opportunity to meet our artists in a casual setting.”

Fresh Arts’ Cultured Cocktails is held every Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Boheme Café & Wine Bar, 307 Fairview Street near the corner of Taft Street. The featured organization receives 10 percent of the drink sales from 5 to 7 p.m.

Visual Arts Alliance (VAA) is an educational organization for serious practitioners of the visual arts and interested members of the general public. Founded in Houston, TX in 1981, VAA is an all-volunteer-run, 501(c)3, nonprofit organization.
