Space Montrose Listed Among Reasons to “Skip Austin. Visit Houston Instead”

Conde Nast Traveler invites those eyeing the state of Texas for a vacation to “Visit Houston, Not Austin” in a recent slide show. In it were several suggestions on where to eat, stay and shop, the last of which included a shout-out to Space Montrose, located at 1706 Westheimer Rd.

Writer Katharine Shilcutt, who is also features and dining editor at Houstonia Magazine, touts the “local goods, whether wearable (shirts, jewelry, purses, baby clothes) or frameable (posters, photographs, prints)” as reasons to stop by and pick up a few handmade items that also happen to make excellent souvenirs.
