Super Bowl Business Connect program extends deadline to May 31

Houston SuperbowlExperienced and motivated Houston business owners and entrepreneurs will be offered an opportunity to participate in the process to bid for contracts with the NFL’s Super Bowl LI contractors and special event producers, and the Houston Super Bowl Host committee. As a part of The Houston Super Bowl Host Committee’s commitment to offer economic opportunities to local businesses, Houston Super Bowl Host Committee will implement Business Connect, one of the NFL’s signature programs.

Business Connect is the NFL’s supplier diversity program designed to connect diverse, local businesses to contracting opportunities related to the Super Bowl. The program’s goal is to increase opportunities for qualified, experienced and certified local enterprises to conduct Super Bowl business, as well as to support individual business growth through networking events, educational and capacity-building programs.

Houston’s Business Connect initiative is a competitive program with opportunities running throughout the year and culminating during Super Bowl LI.

The Business Connect Program is open to businesses in the Greater Houston area that are certified in one or more of the following categories:

  • Minority-Owned Enterprise (MBE)
  • Woman-Owned Enterprise (WBE)
  • Disabled Veteran-Owned Enterprise (DVBE)
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender-Owned Enterprise (LGBTE)

Participation in the Business Connect Program requires businesses to be at least 51% owned in one of the certification categories and have its organizational headquarters or an established office in the Greater Houston area. Additionally, businesses must be in operation for a minimum of three years at the time of application and provide goods and services in one or more of our requested Business Categories.

  • Barricades
  • Catering, Restaurants, Food and Beverage
  • Entertainment
  • Equipment Rentals
  • Florist/Flowers
  • Furniture
  • Golf Carts
  • Signs and Banners
  • Tenting

    Not sure if you could use our services in any capacity. cutLoose salon has been a succesful business located in the heart of Montrose for 35 years, long before many of the restaurants and boutiques in this neighborhood.
