Montrose Nightclub Is The Star Of “Friday I’m In Love” Documentary

By | January 27, 2015

FridayImInLove_NumbersNumbers at 300 Westheimer is one of Houston’s most storied nightclubs, which makes it the perfect subject for a documentary. It’s at the center of a film called Friday I’m In Love, which the Chronicle reports is nearing a critical stage in production.

A Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the completion of Friday I’m In Love launches February 2. The crew estimates there is “roughly a year of filming and production” left before the project is finalized, and the donations from Kickstarter (if successful) should cover remaining costs.

Interviews with “customers, bands and staff” have been the focus of the film, but there’s still “a lot of work” ahead to gather additional footage and tackle the editing process.
